Description

Preloaded MicroSD card for the Super EverDrive X5, X6, or FXPAK PRO (formerly SD2SNES)

Every North American Released SNES game all on one SD card, plus almost all EU and JP titles, along with a small bonus collection of hacked ROMs and JP-ENG translations. There is also a Top 100 collection just for fun; the best-of in one folder!

The X5 model of the EverDrive lacks compatibility with 76 Chip Enhanced cartridges. These games will not run on the X5 and require the FXPAK Pro. A new X6 model has recently been released that offers support for the DSP chip adding support for 22 additional games including Super Mario Kart and Pilotwings, but will still be unable to play some popular titles like Star Fox, Super Mario RPG, and Mega Man X2.)

The X5/X6 card includes all ROMs, including those not compatible on that device, so your collection is complete. These have been marked in the filename.  [See Directory List Here]

FXPAK PRO supports enhancement chip games, including the MSU-1.

What is an MSU-1 mod?
The MSU-1 is a cartridge addon chip (similar to the SuperFx chip) that allows for many enhancements to SNES games including, but not limited to, full-motion video and CD quality sound by adding up to 4GB of storage for extra content. Some examples of MSU-1 modded games would be: Zelda: A Link to the Past done with a fully orchestrated CD quality soundtrack. Chrono Trigger with all the video cut scenes from the PlayStation version inserted. Mega Man X with a new CD quality soundtrack.

We’ve recently updated the FXPAK PRO cards and have added another option with even more MSU-1 fan mods!  A 16GB version of the FXPAK card includes no MSU-1 hacks; just the same collection as the X5, X6 except it the FXPAK can play all of them.

A 64GB collection has 100 MSU-1 enhanced fan hacks. [See Directory List for 64GB FXPAK]

A 256GB card has been added with 320 MSU-1 fan hacks, every one we’ve found! [See Directory List for 256GB FXPAK]

We can also customize your orders; for example if you want the 64GB card but want a few of the MSU-1 titles from the full 256GB collection just contact us with what you want added/removed and we can do that for you. Or, if you want a few more MSU-1s added to the 128GB card, we can do that too!

EverDrive does not guarantee compatibility with every title. The X5 and X6 does not support most Enhancement Chip cartridge games, though all have been included in this collection. See the Krikzz website for support on your EverDrive.

Complete Sets include some duplicates as multiple versions of some cartridges were printed with slight variants, bug fixes, or sometimes censorship.
