More Inventory Adjustments

We’ve managed to secure a sizable inventory of memory cards:

Shop prices should be stable on all capacities 4-256GB for quite a while now.

512GB cards will be looking at a small price increase soon; we’ve got about 10 cards left at old inventory prices. Once those are gone, prices on this capacity are going to creep up a bit. We may have lucked into a supply for only a small price increase (~$10) and stock that will last another few months, so if that supplier delivers we’ll be good on that capacity for a while longer.

We’ve also managed to secure enough 1TB cards to last hopefully through Christmas. We’re still finding those 1-2 at a time for tolerable pricing and keeping a trickle of new supply in for now. Plenty in stock for now.

Hard Drives are also growing very difficult to source. 1TB SSDs we’ve put back on the store as there are some of these available again from a few brands in limited supply. m.2 SATA drives we’ve unlisted from the shop; we’ll still do them but ask for a custom quote. Depending on brand prices can be outrageous. We have just a tiny number of 4TB drives for the Wii collection and 6TB drives for the PS2 collection left on hand, and the prices to replace those have almost doubled as well. Larger mass storage drives for the big PS3+ collections have been a struggle; if you’re interested in such a collection ask us for a quote and we’ll see what we can find. (Reminder we still also use customer media; if you’ve got your own drive that cuts your price down dramatically.)

We’ve been lucky to find inventory for cards to keep prices as reasonable as we can, in some cases not much more than a new card of those capacities from Amazon.

Until then, keep on gaming.
